Hi! My name is Emily. I live in sunny Southern California with my hubby and daughters. I started writing in elementary school. The first story I ever wrote was about a little girl who drowns and is reincarnated as a blue whale. It's super uplifting, right? ;)
I studied English and Creative Writing in college and had such a blast. I often get story ideas from the lives of my friends and family, and from the crazy dreams I have. I'm not kidding. Once I dreamed that I was at summer camp and Yoda was a vampire who was out to get us all.
When I'm not writing or reading, I love being in the kitchen trying new recipes and making old favorites. I also enjoy watching lots of television, crocheting, and enjoying the backyard with my daughters and our flock of chickens.
